WWE has made it clear that NXT 2.0 is all about building the future and creating Superstars from scratch. It is committed to build in-ring skills and personalities that fit into their style of “sports entertainment.”
NXT 2.0 is at least the third iteration of the program that began as a competition “reality” show. First premiering in 2010 with the promise that they would find the next breakout star, NXT produced future WWE stars in Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan, David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty.
But who from the current NXT 2.0 roster will be the brand’s next male breakout star and be the first to win the WWE or Universal title on main roster?
