WWE King and Queen of the Ring Match Card

The WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournaments are marking their first occurrence since 2021. The finals are scheduled to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on May 25.

The King of the Ring tournament, which started in 1985, has been a career milestone for many WWE superstars, including Steve Austin in 1996. The current King of the Ring, Xavier Woods, who won in 2021, will not compete this year. The Queen of the Ring tournament, introduced in 2021 with Zelina Vega as its winner.

After successfully defending his undisputed WWE title against AJ Styles at Backlash, Cody Rhodes quickly found a new challenger in Logan Paul. Announced by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis just six days post-match, the upcoming title match was initially set to be a title-for-title bout in Jeddah, with both Rhodes’ world championship and Paul’s U.S. title on the line. However, changes made by Paul and his legal team later altered the contract, making it so only Rhodes’ title would be contested.
