SummerSlam 2023 has sets the record for the largest day-one sale for any WWE event in history that was held at a stadium excluding WrestleMania.
WWE has already sold 32,000 tickets for the 2023 SummerSlam, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 5, 2023 in in Detroit, Michigan. The event marks WWE’s first event to be held at Ford Field since WrestleMania 23 in April 2007, and the first SummerSlam to be held in Michigan since the 1993 event.
While there have been no official matchups announced yet, fans can get expect to see WWE stars like Rey Mysterio, Bianca Belair, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair and Roman Reigns at the event.
