WWE SmackDown Results From June 07, 2024

AJ Styles faked his retirement last week to ambush the undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes. Rhodes, seeking revenge, plans to make Styles say “I Quit” at Clash at the Castle.

Rhodes, still angry from last week’s attack, spent the night looking for Styles. SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis and security informed Rhodes that Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows were arriving soon.

Rhodes stormed to the ring, demanding Styles to face him. The O.C. responded, and Rhodes agreed to a rematch, stipulating it would be an “I Quit” match. Aldis made the match official. Despite attempts by security to keep them apart, Styles managed to land a Phenomenal Forearm on Rhodes.

The Bloodline was also on SmackDown, with Solo Sikoa promoting Tama Tonga, welcoming Tanga Loa, and continuing their feud with Kevin Owens and the Street Profits.
