WWE Talent And Employees Reportedly Test Positive For COVID-19

According to PWInsider, a number of WWE talent and staff members have reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus.

The report states that a number of talent and staff were feeling run down coming out of this past weekend. While some have already tested positive, others are still waiting for their test results to return.

With wrestlers testing positive for the virus, it could have ripple effects on the return of the annual post-Christmas Holiday Tour,. The tour is set to return this year after being cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic. Friday Night Smackdown on FOX has already been filmed, thus there will be no modifications as a result of the COVID positives.

The WWE has two shows next week in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Laval, Quebec. It remains to be seen if the WWE moves forward with them. Several Canadian provinces are already under lockdown, and tickets for the Quebec show are no longer being offered, but the event is still listed as taking place.
