At WWE’s pre-Backlash press conference, Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament.
Triple H explained that the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament will kickoff one day after WWE Backlash (May 8) with two Triple Threat Matches on Raw and two Triple Threat Matches on SmackDown. The winners will then wrestle at Night of Champions to determine the World Heavyweight Champion.
WWE hasn’t revealed the participants for the tournament yet.
